Hi, welcome to PocketNursery
PocketNursery helps US parents choose baby and toddler gear that fits real life: small apartments, tight closets, compact cars, and trips with a little one in tow. If you have ever stood in a living room wondering where a full-size crib, a play yard, and a high chair are all supposed to go, this site is for you.
Say hi to our mascots

Bolo, Toasty, Juniper, Mosh and Zuri are the cartoon friends you’ll spot around PocketNursery. They’re just here to keep things cheerful. They don’t review or recommend products, and every guide on this site is researched and written by The PocketNursery Team.
Who we are
PocketNursery is an independent site that researches baby and toddler gear for families with limited space or a lot of travel ahead of them. We write under one name, The PocketNursery Team, and we are not owned by or affiliated with any baby gear brand or retailer.
Our reviews are research-based. We do not test products in person. Instead, we study manufacturer specs and manuals, check current US safety standards and recall notices, and compare published specs and measurements side by side. When we say something works well in a small apartment or on a trip, it’s because the maker’s measurements and the safety guidance back it up. You can read exactly how we do this on our How We Research page.
What we cover
- Strollers, travel systems, and compact strollers that fold small
- Car seats and travel car seat gear
- Cribs, bassinets, and play yards for small spaces
- High chairs, feeding gear, and space-saving seats
- Baby carriers and travel essentials
- Storage and organization for tiny nurseries
Our promise to you
We aim to be warm, honest, and practical. We point out the downsides as clearly as the upsides, we explain who a product is not right for, and we update our guides when products change or are recalled. Safety comes first: we lean on guidance from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). You can read more on our How We Research page.
How the site is funded
PocketNursery is reader-supported. When you buy through some of our links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Brands cannot pay for a spot in our rankings. See our Affiliate Disclosure for the details.
